Given its strategic nature and the benefits the School stands to accrue, KSG recognizes that successful consulting requires competent consultants with the necessary competencies and tools to service the business needs of the client organizations in an effective, efficient and timely manner without compromising on both quality and content.

It is against this backdrop that the office of the Director of Academic Affairs has embarked on an expedition to re-engineer this core business. To this end, the Center Organized a consultancy capacity building for the Faculty members drawn from all campuses which was held at Embu Campus as from 7th – 12th June 2015. The course was meant to provide participants with an overview of sound management consulting tools, processes, and best practices. The participants also developed a consultancy policy which will be incorporated into the consultancy handbook once it is developed.

KSG Consultants are drawn from various disciplines of specialization including: business strategy, marketing and financial management, human resources, information technology and supply-chain management. As a result of their exposure to, and relationships with numerous organizations, our consultants are aware of industry "best practices". In the consultancy process, we engage clients and train their teams on a comprehensive approach to improving the Value Realization of their products and services.

The KSG consultancy service portfolio spans across multiple service disciplines including but not limited to:

  • Strategic and Business Plans,
  • Human Resource Manuals,
  • Schemes of Service,
  • Board Inductions and Evaluations,
  • Boards and Service Charters.
  • Change Management,
  • Risk Analysis,
  • Team Building
  • Customer and Employee Satisfaction Surveys and
  • Skills and Competence Assessment.

These among others will enable the School to provide integrated solutions that help organizations recognize value quickly by reducing costs and improving business agility.
To guarantee top-quality work to our clients, each engagement is completed in the context of the School’s ISO Standards with close supervision by the Director General through the office of the Director Academic Affairs.
